Jacqueline Simpson- Dunne is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Through her education, experience and empathic nature, Jackie is uniquely suited to treat children and adolescents with behavioral health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, post- traumatic stress disorder and mood disorders. Jackie has also worked extensively with children and adolescents with comorbid conditions.

Recently Jackie has been named to the Advisory Board of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement, a (501)(c)(3) charitable organization founded by Scarlett Lewis.

Jackie frequently addresses the public on topics of interest related to her profession, including topics like The Neurobiological Effect of Social Media on the Adolescent Brain. For more information on her speaking engagements please email her here

Jackie previously worked at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut. providing psychiatric treatment and medication management for high risk, complex and comorbid conditions. She still covers for the practice on occasion.  Jackie has also had extensive experience working with children and adolescents in the ER setting, providing crisis intervention for patients with an acute psychiatric illness, and has spent time working with people battling substance abuse, including those addicted to heroin and opiates.

Jackie earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Columbia University. She has worked at some of some of the finest hospitals, including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Columbia University Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital. Jackie has also served as adjunct professor for graduate and undergraduate students at Columbia University School of Nursing, Yale University, University of Connecticut, and the College of New Rochelle.
